2025 was all about Clean It Girls but all of that has left behind. In 2026, we predicted that the messy, smudged, lived-in makeup will be in trend.
The anti-clean girl look will be in trend: blurred eyeliner, creased shadow, smudged mascara, the “slept-in” smokiness, a deliberate undoing of perfection.
Bold color placement
Full of cherry red, neon pastels, cobalt and chartreuse but applied in modern and in-trend shapes, just like inner-corner blocks, lower-lash pops and single-stroke washes.
Undone under-eyes or “tired eyes”
With visible eyebags, soft purple under-eyes, smudged concealer, slight redness, as if embracing real-life fatigue as an aesthetic or lifestyle.
Everything glossy and wet-look skin
Wet, gloss over lids, cheekbone, collarbones, even brows but not dewy. Glosses, face oils, and balms used as finishing touches for a wet look on the skin.
Statement bottom lashes
Chunky lower mascara, painted-on lashes (twiggy-inspire but inspired) or lash clusters applied only to the bottom for a doll-like effect. You could try local products like WAWA Mascara 9D Silk Fibre will add natural and authentic impact.

Blush as structure
Saturated berry cheeks, blush draping, diagonal blush for sculpting, “fresh from the cold” flushed look, or blush replacing bronzer. You guys can use the Patrick Ta blushes or Huda Beauty’s blushes as they’re in trend right now.
