The K-Beauty Expo Malaysia 2025 is the first time the prominent Korean beauty exhibition makes its Malaysian debut and organizers chose Penang Waterfront Convention Centre (PWCC) in Penang as its venue.
The event was hosted by the Korean province of Gyeonggi, organized by KINTEX (Korea International Exhibition Centre) and supported by local Malaysian and Penang tourism bodies.
Besides beauty and cosmetic, the expo ran jointly with K-Meditech Expo Malaysia 2025- a showcase of Korea’s latest in medical technology and healthcare innovations. The two expos occurred simultaneously from 20 to 22 November 2025.
What happened at the Expo | Key Highlights
Full immersion in Korean Beauty trends. The beauty expo featured a vast range of skincare, cosmetic, hair care, nail care, wellness and “smart beauty” technologies. This included not just consumer product, but also clinical-grade skincare and derma cosmetics.
Medical-tech meets beauty. Thanks to concurrent MediTech Expo, visitors could also explore advanced medical devices, diagnostic system, AI-enabled health tools, hospital-grade equipment and digital healthcare solutions-reflecting Koreas strength beyond cosmetics.
The expo featured live demonstrations, product launch, sampling booth, personal color-analysis sessions, beauty demos and interactive zones.
Our Amazing Experience during the Beauty Expo
We discovered new Korean skincare/beauty products which mostly not yet widely available in local stores and we even had the chance to try them in person (demos, color-analysis and sampling).
The Expo offers such great aesthetic, wellness, and medical-grade skincare not to forget they also offered a look at the next-generation products and technologies that blend beauty with science.
In our opinions, we think for small businesses (salons,retailers, e-commerce sellers), this kind of gathering offers a chance to find suppliers or partners and get ahead of beauty trends before they hit mainstream Malaysia.
We think the K-Beauty Expo Malaysia 2025 marked a milestone: the first major Korean beauty & medical-tech trade show to take place in Malaysia and it landed in Penang. Over the span of three days (20-22 November 2025) at PWCC, the expo blended glamour, innovation, business networking and cross-industry exchange.
By bringing together beauty lovers, industry professional healthcare players, and global innovators, the event served as a bridge between Korea’s cutting-edge industry and Southeast Asia’s rising demand for quality beauty and medical-wellness products for Malaysians. It was an amazing experience and we hope that they would do this as a yearly event.
